Privacy policy
Last updated: 3 November 2026. This is a plain-language starting point, not legal advice — have it reviewed for your situation, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
What we collect
When you browse: we count page views and clicks on "Visit" buttons per tool, without storing who you are. Visitors who aren't logged in get no aiberry cookies. If Google Analytics is turned on, Google collects usage data using cookies under its own privacy policy.
If you create an account: we store your name, username, email address, a securely hashed password (we can never see your password), your profile details if you add them (picture, bio, website), and the IP address and time of your last login, used to protect accounts from abuse. Your email address is never shown publicly.
What you post: reviews, "helpful" votes and saved tools are stored with your account. Your reviews, name, username and profile are public.
When you submit a tool: we store the tool details you send and, if you give it, your email address — used only to tell you about your submission.
Cookies we use: a session cookie that keeps you logged in, and — only if you tick "keep me logged in" — a login cookie that lasts 30 days. Comparison selections are stored in your own browser. Partner ads and affiliate links may use their own cookies to track referrals.
Emails
We only email you about your account: confirming your address, resetting your password, and similar messages. No newsletters or marketing unless you separately agree.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal data, and you don't need an account to use the site.
Your choices and rights
You can change your details or delete your account at any time in My account → Login & security. Deleting your account removes your profile, reviews, votes and saved tools. You can also contact us to ask what we hold about you, or to delete an email address you gave us when submitting a tool.
